A Bellhousing, A Clutch, and Another Happy Customer
Our customer was looking to purchase a bellhousing. After a brief
discussion with a member of our technical team, the racer also mentioned
that he was in the market for an item related to his bellhousing, a new
three disc clutch. His request made sense since the bellhousing is designed
to prevent injury from clutch failure, but with each call he made to other
bellhousing manufacturers, the reply was the same. The other bellhousing companies
just weren't interested in helping the racer get the right clutch for his
application. Instead of passing on the opportunity to help a new potential
customer, we sourced a 10" three disc clutch that was just right for his
application. The racer said, "I thought you were probably going to be like
all of the other bellhousing manufacturers, but one call got it all!" In
just a few weeks, the racer's new clutch and bellhousing were installed, and
he was at the track testing and getting ready for the season.
